Behringer HPX2000 DJ HeadphonesIrrespective of whether music is your passion or profession, a good headphone always comes in handy. You will definitely agree that it is very difficult for most headphones to reproduce the music as the artist intends it to be heard. In fact, accurate reproduction is often not possible without full range speakers. However, full range speakers cannot give you the pleasure of listening to music without creating a din and neither do they come cheap. However, what if you can actually get a high-end head phone, that’s really cheap too? While it may not actually fill the boots of a set of quality speakers, you may end up loving it nonetheless. This is specifically why you need to look at the Behringer Hpx2000 high definition DJ headphones.

The name Hpx2000 hi-definition headphones has quite a nice ring to it. However, a catchy name is not all that it’s about! These headphones are good for you as a novice DJ or for leisurely listening, whichever is your need. You should understand one thing very clearly right from the outset that this is not one of the feature-packed pro headphones bought by experienced DJ’s.

Having said this, you will rarely find so many features in one headphone, particularly those costing less than $30. Yes, the biggest advantage of the HPX2000 is its price, which at just under $25 at most major online retailers is an irresistible bargain any way you look at it! And the following is what you get for the $25 you pay:

  • High definition bass, super-transparent highs and ultra-high dynamic range.
  • 1/8” connector and ¼” adapter, which allows you to use this headphone with most mp3 players, laptops and PC’s.
  • Single-sided oxygen free copper wires which allow best possible conductivity.
  • Rotating and reversible ear-cups that are round shaped and so, sit nicely on your ears.
  • Ultra rugged headbands to withstand wear and tear associated with regular use.
  • And this is how most users have summed up the experience of using the Hpx2000 high definition headphones:

  • Since the Hpx2000 is not a closed back headphone, you can get very little sound isolation. Therefore, it is not really ideal for a bustling environment. But the advantage of not having a closed back is that you can get much better clarity even in a place with a lot of din and bustle.
  • The bass is on the weaker side, though the overall sound is good enough for a $25 headphone.  The vocals may seem layered in echo once in a while, but the dynamic range more than makes up for that.
  • These headphones are really comfortable to wear and feel like you are not wearing any headphones at all! So, if you listen to music or play computer games for hours at a stretch, this is the headphone for you.
  • It is safe to say that products which have German technology inside them, rarely disappoint you and the Behringer Hpx2000 high definition DJ headphones is certainly not an exception to this rule.
